Summary:
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately assemble products using hand and power tools following specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Complete work orders, either full or partials
  • Maintain work flow and quality of product
  • Shop and yard organization, moving materials as needed
  • Wrapping various parts for shipping when needed
  • Maintain tools and equipment used
  • Keep a clean and well maintained work area
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Working cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
  • Contribute to continuous improvement culture
  • Other Duties as assigned
