Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately assemble products using hand and power tools following specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Complete work orders, either full or partials
- Maintain work flow and quality of product
- Shop and yard organization, moving materials as needed
- Wrapping various parts for shipping when needed
- Maintain tools and equipment used
- Keep a clean and well maintained work area
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Working cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture
- Other Duties as assigned

- Individual shall possess average written and oral communication skills
- Machine operation
- Operate hand tools
- Able to operate without supervision
- Read work orders and work order prints
- Have the ability to properly read and use a tape measure
- Complete work orders accurately
- Forklift certification
- Clear, effective communication
